With the popularity of YouTube and home videos on the internet today, this video was developed with that trend in mind. Shot solely on a hand-held digital camera, Trix One made all of the video shots and directed the video through to its completion. He worked with Hecto to make the necessary edits.

Although, conventional wisdom would label this film as “amateurish”, we believe it captures the moment and the actual life in the OkiZoo Crew.

Dope

Dope is the third track on the Cloud Nine Album. The music was produced by DJ Cloud with RedStone from Eibisu Tokyo, Japan. Lyrics we written and performed by Trix One.

Music Video Background

OkiZoo made a spontaneous trip to Ayutthaya where Trix went loose on his video project that he had as an idea. Trix, Tek, and Dunn-D made their way through this spiritual temples in the jungles where the former capital of Thailand once stood. They made their ways around the ancient ruins, until the sun was down. Then they made their way into forbidden areas that were off limits in order to connect with the souls of this former city that fell to hands of warfare and destruction.

800HighTech required custom features and a comprehensive database that integrated with all aspects of their work and customer-side of the website. Ideally we would have started from scratch and built a completely new website with back-end. However this was not the case.

The website was originally created by freelance designer in Macromedia Cold Fusion and had a number of security vulnerabilities and design flawed. The first phase of the project was to quickly correct these and then move to a standard coding. This also required us migrating their current database and customer management files.

The heart of the company and a very tedious job, was finally integrated with the new design with a successful migration of data. Then came the add-ons and additional features that we still continue to this day to improve and upgrade.

Additionally, we provide hosting and server management and monitor security and performance of their system. This section of the task is an uphill battle and requires constant updating, monitoring and tweaking. I think this is a task that customers should not ever be satisfied with, and should always desire more. Threats are constantly evolving and mutating, and a team needs to never be complacent with their system.

About the Songs

First Time was Shinkansen after one of the first few times working with DJ Cloud. Summer 2006. The track features Oi-chan from Okinawa. Trix has been recording in his studio and notice a large collection of guitars and knew he had to get it on his track. First Time was about the feeling of the first time of various stages of our life that color our lives – both good and bad. Listening to the track you will think back to the first time when…

Singha was made in Pink Studio on Lad Prao Bangkok Thailand when TZA came out to Thailand for the first time in Winter 2007. Singha is a mythical creature in South East Asian folklore. It symbolizes the crazy trip and unforgettable experiences with the OkiZoo crew traveling around Thailand.

Dope was produced in the Kanmakemillions studios in Bangkok Summer 2008. Trix had been getting into some international underground sounds, and wanted to experiment some new sounds. It was the first track Trix One produced on his turn-tables using Serato and all original samples.

P.O.W. was a track that DJ Cloud had pushed Trix One’s abilities to create tracks and stepping up his lyrics. The lyrics spawned from a poem Trix One had created titled America is Headed Towards Self Destruction. It gives an overview of his personal experience and thoughts.

Destruction of Neo Tokyo was a track that pushed the limits of Trix, TZA and Isomo to work with DJ Helda Jinsei and Domestic Violence in Oi-chan’s studio in Summer of 2006. DJ Helda Jinsei were working on a the decks together unchinachu style. 1 take. Destruction of Neo Tokyo is a metaphor for breaking the conventional way of thought and music.

Banana Smoothies feat Mama D from aboriginal Australia. She wanted to put a track down with Trix One, but had only a few hours before her flight left Bangkok. She sung a aboriginal lullaby, with Trix One and Precise laying lyrics on top. Precise sent in his Shy Town flow, that twisted the track up. This was also a fully original track produced by Trix One.

e=MC features 4 MCs, TZA Trix One Sohch, Nations, rhyming on the mic about the fakes and the real MC. Completed in 2005

Sublime was one of the first tracks DJ Cloud sent for Trix ONe to work with in January 2005. The beat sat for a couple months while Trix One worked on other tracks. Several tragedies hit and Trix One set his rhymes about the friends we lost along the way with Mimmy Smooth adding the beautiful vocals. The track is featured to the following people: Charlie Green, Andy Pasi, and Nobu.

Torture is the last track and the last to be completed. With each taking different paths in life, the periodically sent each other files and tweaked the sound. 5 years later, the album was nearly complete. Trix and Hecto got to work on the final track Torture. The beat was created by Arowan, and Trix took it and went hard on it.
