Loading ...Military computer finance website project began as a simple e-commerce website, but like most projects it quickly grew into something more.
800HighTech required custom features and a comprehensive database that integrated with all aspects of their work and customer-side of the website. Ideally we would have started from scratch and built a completely new website with back-end. However this was not the case.
The website was originally created by freelance designer in Macromedia Cold Fusion and had a number of security vulnerabilities and design flawed. The first phase of the project was to quickly correct these and then move to a standard coding. This also required us migrating their current database and customer management files.
The heart of the company and a very tedious job, was finally integrated with the new design with a successful migration of data. Then came the add-ons and additional features that we still continue to this day to improve and upgrade.
Additionally, we provide hosting and server management and monitor security and performance of their system. This section of the task is an uphill battle and requires constant updating, monitoring and tweaking. I think this is a task that customers should not ever be satisfied with, and should always desire more. Threats are constantly evolving and mutating, and a team needs to never be complacent with their system.
